I would like to know this too!

Will a dissasembler verify that please? Good to know. Also, does the bit control anything else?

FBA Bit 0 enables/disables lean spool according to tephra and has been tested to maintain the same AFRs as alternate Lean Spool disablement methods.

If you open ecu periphery1 highlight the value (std value 0009)and open ecu periphery 1(fba) , bit 0 is set to 1 , highlight the 1 and change it to 0 using minus key ,, watch 0009 change to 0008, in ecu periphery, lean spool disabled. works for me 98640014/90550001/93660005/94170008

So which bit was it that turns off the knock control, I remember it is in Periphery0?

I may have found a way to keep the boost control running when the knock control is turned off too. Normally it turns off at the same time. I found the addresses which control the octane level the wastegate solenoid is enabled and disabled at.

I may have missed this but there are two bits for EVAP codes - FCA Bits 13 and 14. Should i disable both of them if i want to remove the EVAP system? Are those the only two bits associated with EVAP?

Just an observation: while I was testing something and intending to toggle FAA bit 3 (immobilizer disabling), I accidentally toggled FAA bit 4 instead. The car behaved as though the ISC had been disabled; idle seemed to be driven by the setting of the BISS.

Just in case it helps anyone.

Bump - I am also looking to know if anyone had issue with emissions testing. I am mainly looking to remove the solenoid, not the canister. I am trying to remove the junk around the IM, specifically attached to that bracket. The new search feature is horrible but i tried looking for what you can keep attached. I remember something about as long as the solenoid is plugged in everything else can be removed.
