new feature in ECUFlash 1.35: periphery bits
*Bump* Looking to find out whether or not these periphery bit settings are the same for a 2004 EDM map, rom number 99270000. I need to disable the EGR check and possibly the wastegate solenoid.
Yes they should be the same for all evo's.
but some roms don't have all features, so you can enable them all. disabling is always possible.
If you want to disable the startup checks, this is done fast.
Just search for the Pxxxx code and periphery and you find the bit it disables it. (only if discoverd by the ecu gurus)

Guys.......please help me with some details...... about my periphery setup
Without adding the xml files of mrfred, I see the following value tables inside periphery. Those are the proper values that I have at this momment.
If I open using notepad my existing xml file .... somewhere at periphery line is written like this:
<!-- *** ECU PERIPHERY *** -->
<!-- Tables are in the evo9base file -->

************************************************** ************
After adding mrfred files I see what I attached in the second tables and the values from the cells.

I had something made by a friend that he disable the O2 sensor from periphery.
I just recieve the xml and hex file and I flash it.
After 100 km again the cell went on.
Now please tell me if I must add still what mrfred explain in this thread or I must leave it like this.
Second tell me please if for EDM cars I must disable something else......using periphery. ..... something that may help the car running.
Thanks

I know its kind of sucky to have to buy the same thing twice, but I recommend getting another Tactrix cable. Hamish still sells the 1.3 cable which is a more reasonable price than the 2.0 cable.
Which cable is the one to have? It's been awhile since I needed to adjust my tune so I need to be brought up to speed.
BTW can the cold start timing adv periphery bit be changed using the old school scripting method?
