Still having major problems communication with my ECU in my EVO7.
I can communicate through a diagnostic tool but not through Openport 1.3 cable. It worked fine before I removed the Battery cable with computer connected to OBD. After that nothing is working with Openport cable.

I recived a new cable today but still no success.
One thing I noticed is that the tarmac led is flashing and when the system was working all the 3 leds was flashing when Openport cable was connected.

Any ideas?

I think the flashing LEDs is due to pin 9 being connected, which is for Subarus. There was a thread about that at the lancer register, hope that helps.

Is it possible to damage the program input on the ECU?
