500WHP on Stock MAF&ECU

I was thinking about putting in either a FP red or BR HTA 35R in next spring but I wanted to know if I can achieve 500whp with the stock MAF without modifacation? I have seen a few guys on evom who have hit that number.

Thanks for the help

You may want to reinforce it like 9sec9 has done to his car.

Good to know since 99% of the time I would be driving on low boost or as low as the wastegate will alow me to. I was worried about the MAF not be able to read that much airflow or sucking in the honey comb

We've had a couple stock MAF and ECU evos on our dyno make 450whp+, which is over 500 on a dynojet.

Naw the reason why is I'm probably going to go with EMS in 2010 when I move to FL. No emissions there

Go with a pt 61. I would make 500 wheel on a dynojet. plus not many ppl have that turbo, almost identical to 35r for less money.

They are currently working on being able to switch the stock ECU over to speed density (find the thread in this section) which could solve tons of your concerns so you might not need to worry about moving or emissions issues, lol.

I am running over 500 hp to the wheels, on pump, with a un-modified maf. It works just fine and the car is daily driven.
