Yeah, 4th & 5th gear will always have higher boost than others so it seems to all make sense. Definitely invest in a JDM map sensor in the near future. As for the high load, if its not a boost leak (read TB's explanation above) then I'd surely say you are boosting higher than you are aware of in reality.

I'm not sure of this ... I've heard and seen logs of both sides. Spikes may differ, but I think the consistent boost levels will be very similar in at least 3-6.

From what I have seen, most of the time, it's slightly higher boost to make the same load.

Interesting ... I'll review my logs to see if I find the same things. From what I recall both boost and load are pretty consistent, but maybe I was looking at it from a 40k' level.

bump!

The problem was the boost controller. I disconnected it and used a hallman mbc at 23-24psi... Max timing @ 12 degrees on redline, pumpgas and a racing weight of 3378 I ran 119-120 traps last Sunday with no traction whatsoever!
