Special Request: I need to disable Fuel Pressure Solonoid circuit in the ECU

Hello,

I need your help. I recently installed a JMF SMIM on my 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII. When I was reassembling everything, I accidently switch the connectors to the number 1 fuel injector and the Fuel Pressure Regulator. They have the same connector. I discovered the problem after I fired up the car as it was running on three cylinders. I turned off the car and switched the connectors. Then I fired up the car and it ran fine except that it turned on the check engine light. The code is P0090 (Fuel Pressure Regulator Circuit). I tried clearing the code and it came back. I checked the wiring from the ECU to the connector and everything is fine. I tested the Fuel Pressure Solonoid and it is fine. I tried replacing the solonoid with a known good one and it stills throws this code. I tried a different ECU thinking that I blew out the ground circuit in the ECU and it stills throws this code. I took it to the dealer and wasted alot of time and money and they cannot find what is wrong. I took it to RRE and had Scot Gray look at it and he cannot find anything wrong. This is driving me crazy as I do not know what I did. Everything is connected properly and there is no damage that I can see.

Here is my special request. Is there a way to disable the Fuel Pressure Solonoid Circuit (P0090) in the ECU ROM to eliminate the check engine light? Can you please tell me what needs to be done in order to accomplish this? I do not like having the check engine light on for something that has no impact on the drivibility of the car.

Thank you in advance.

Someone needs to make more patches for the stock ecu. I know tephra has already made a patch for the rear O2 sensor. Now we just need to get more patches to shut the egr and pump off.

Try setting Periphery2, bit 15, to zero.

Since you have no EGR now anyway turn them all off in Periphery 2 (FCA address) set it 0x0001, and it will get the fuel and the EGR/Evap all at the same time.

sorry about that....I did not realize that you were the one who wrote it.

Now my question is.....With the patch does the o2 sensor stay in the ready mode for testing?
