Hamish, just ordered the EvoScan GPS and anxiously waiting for it to be shipped to Thailand now!!

Some quick questions
1) Would the device be compatible with tactrix cable ver 2.0 as well (any time soon)?
2) for the GPS program... can I install iGo versions 2006 or v.8 onto the device? version 4 is a bit old.

Is it possible to add test 13? Fuel pump relay3.
If you want a complete test of your fuel injection I think that you should add this test.

I have to be doing something wrong. I for the life of me cannot get maptracer to work in 2.5 or 2.6 beta 7. I did notice in beta 7 the autoload is looking in an obscure folder for my .xml. I have one in there but it was like an old one that doesn't work. I replaced it with a working one and maptracer seems to load properly but when i click on parameters the top table displays nothing.

Is there a way to change where it looks to autoload the .xml? Am i doing something wrong?

Finally spent some time with evoscan beta 7 today on 64bit vista......seems to be working quite well. Using a power inverter and my laptop plugged in I was getting 140-160 samples/sec.

Graphing worked well, maptracer seems to be 10x better than before....I like how it highlights the cells and also shows you the table data if you hold the cursor over it.

One thing weird I did notice......my cable would lose connection and I would unplug it and plug it back in and still would come up with an error that the cable was not connected. After shutting down evoscan and restarting it the cable would function again? It was an intermittent problem so I couldn't pin point exactly when it would happen, happened once Saturday and once yesterday.

Other than that I haven't had a single issue and i used it for over an hour total the past 2 days......once the wideband com port stuff gets fixed I think it will be a success on the 64bit platforms.....thank you for getting this all working.

GOOD NEWS! All EvoScan GPS Navigator Display Units have shipped yesterday, I will email out tracking numbers by Sunday. You should expect them to be arriving next week.

They all have the latest iGo v8
They all have the EvoScanPPC v1.0 (EvoScanPPC v1.1 will be released on Sunday)

Expect OpenPort 2.0 and Evo9 reflash support soon. I'm working on that over the next couple of days.

I now have an EvoX ecu to use (thanks to Bushur Racing), so expect EvoX support soon.

hey evo4mad after you develop the software to flash the evo 9 will the 1.3 cable work or do you need the 2.0 cable by the way i got your email some reason its going straight to spam
