He'd need to rewrite, but it is possible to do.

The stock ECU maps have 8 available to switch from, but to do more than fuel and timing would be a PITA for it because the lookup is only used for some of the maps, lots of things would need to be moved around and it would risk introducing bugs.

Pump fuel:
Low Boost and High Boost, these can share the same fuel and possibly timing maps if done correctly. Perhaps only another timing map.

Race Fuel:
1 high boost maxed out map to the limit. All out race map.

Now that would be Ggggreat!!!!

Is it still possible?

You just need an "off" for wastegate duty cycle then for your low boost map, could alter valet mode to do this.

I still don't understand why people want a lower boost map for pump gas

some people run ECU controlled boost and cant turn it down themselves with a boost controller.... I hope thats what you mean... because obviously you can safely run higher boost and more advanced timing maps when you are running higher octane than pump gas

I find I run different timing and fuel with my low/high boost maps...

Probably for ease of understanding I would just a 3x all maps, rather than selective maps if u know what I mean.

How many other ppl are interested in getting a 3altmaps?

No i understand having higher boost/timing for different octanes. My confusion is why people want different boost levels for the same gas. I guess it goes back to people thinking if they turn the boost down they will get better gas mileage.

i run the same gas on the street as on the (race)track, however I run less boost on the track as heat becomes a problem.

You don't buy an evo for gas mileage

Low boost is good for when the wife drives, you don't fancy going 100 mph everywhere and most importantly driving in rain, lack of traction.

3rd map would allow filling up with race fuel on the spot.

I would also be interested in a 3 map mod, wife and I share the car and I would like to be able to turn it down for her when the snow comes in a couple of weeks.

The more maps the better.... Makes tuning easier if you can load a bunch of maps and then log each one without having to reflash.

Although I consider it pretty low on the list of features. I would much rather have completly new features like gear boost control, speed density, more knock control, etc...
