check continuity between the 12pin reflash plug (officially pin26, but really its pin 5 or last of 3 on the notch side, its the corner pin) and the ecu harness (pin 79) see the XLS doc on my website if you don't know which is pin 79. 3rd pin from the right on the top row.
tried charging longer and tried disconnecting the battery but still no luck.
Checked the ecu harness for pin 79 also
On the reflash plug, is there suppose to be a corner pin that sticks out? kind of like a needle in the female plug?

I cannot to read/write to ECU with ECUFLASH.
I was able to flash without any problem until my battery ran out of juice. I recharged it and now everything works fine except that it cannot be flashed.
I read some prior threads about this and so far I've tried:
new battery, checked fuse, unlock tool (even though I know it isn't locked), reinstall and install ECUFlash, different laptop, different cable
Evoscan works fine so I'm guessing it has to do with the smaller white plug, not the OBDII plug.
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks

yeah really focus on that pin 79 plug (EEPROM reflash voltage line), make sure it has connectivity to that reflash wire on the cable. check with a voltmeter the voltage during reflashing attempts. let me know what it it.
