Hello

In tephra v7 the high octane egr ignition advance table in the 1500-4000rpm and 30-70load cruesing are I can see some timing advance.. Is it for fuel economy ? When I diaseable the EGR system shoud this value add in the High octane ignition map ?

At warm up the Evo using the warmp up igniton map only ?! The size of this map is last 260load.. coud these cause fuel cut feeling @peak boost under warm up time ?
This table is only for the cat converter to get hotter as soon as possible ?

That is so it burns the EGR-added intake charge better.

If you disable your EGR, you should zero out the EGR advance map.

I am not sure if this could change engine work in any way ? Except displayin dtc's ofcourse

No, it eliminates the cel and disables the EGR system.

Thanks to everyone that has contributed on this topic...finished the mod and love the results!
I found that the hole in the head was easy to tap...
I used a slightly larger tap and plug than was suggested.
Here are the parts I used to do the job.

just put on the new caps... wow that was a tight fit, and they did need to be cut down, just to slide them on.

and in the process of doing that, I noticed that there is a lil metallic spacer or something between the TB and IM that is sticking out on one side... Does this needs to be lined up...

It's supposed to stick out lol. You're fine. If you take off the TB it will make more sense.

I used the small caps from boostcontroller.com for the throttle body cap off's and then put the rubber black overtop of those for protection from mc w/e the **** the sites called, and then i used silicone for the bigger port off the intake mani and then another rubber overtop the silicone.. i think my stuff will be good forever took me $22 to make it bullet proof though.

If you guys want a part list of what I did I will post it up. It isnt cheap though. Cost about $22 in total for the solution.

did any1 else notice that their motor seems like its way warmer under the hood... I drove to the cages, hit, drove back, and the motor seems way hot! Even the rubber hoses are fkn hot!!!

edit: the idle did seem a lil more steady... and I might be trippin, as its been a while since Ive been under the hood, directly after driving, but damn that ish was hot!

Where is the egr "solenoid" located? I have the egr valve (in the garage), and what looks like the the proper hoses, but not the solenoid... I dont see it, in the car... The evap solenoid, is on the back/left hand side of the IM, right? And do I see the fpr...

(facing the the engine bay) on the bottom of the TB, under the UICP, there is a huge nipple that is vented, w/ no hose... Is this kosher???

Both the evap and the EGR solenoid are on the back of the mani. The EGR is mounted on the intake mani brace, the evap on the IM on the back left side.

The last thing you explained sounds like the coolant inlet to your IAC.
