quick sanity check

Hi Guys,

ok I had a TB Seal leak, my AFR's were about 11.3.

Since fixed the leak (havn't double checked it thou) and now my AFR's are 10.8

This is all 20+psi...

I *would* have thought the leak would have caused air to escape, and now that I have fixed it would be pushing more air into the engine - thus leaning out the mix???

i dont get??!?

Have you compared your logged load before/after?

Now that the motor is seeing more pressure you are probably running higher load and going into higher load/richer fuel cels.

I would have thought the load would have dropped of as well, more PSI in IM means turbo has to work LESS to maintain target PSI... meaning less air sucked in intake...

ok my bad. I just checked a pre-seal-fix and the AFR's + load is about the same...

hrmm maybe my brain is going crazy

6500rpm/24psi/270load/10.8 - bot the same... Let me excel both of these..

I fixed a substantial boost leak from my LICP as well as adding the perrin intake and the car was leaned out a lot. TB seals were also changed out but i am not sure the stock ones were leaking.
