in answer to the previous Q about 1.2 v 1.3. Sorry the ROM is still setup for 1.2, but my XML is 1.3 (I use 1.3 in my ROM... and I just copied the XML from my evoscan... oops)

turns out I had it in the right place after all... I have tried placing at the top and bottom of
<Mode2 name="Mode2" type="Data List Items"> section. and still nothing

One question about gear dependant boost: what does the 0 (zero) gear means?

 

Also "RPM/Speed Ratio Filter Strength" measured in units.

 

0 gear should be standstill + engine running.

u should need to change the filter strength...

Did anyone ever figure out what was going on? I observed tip-in knock when I switched, but I pulled a degree of timing from that area and it went away AFAIK

 

Sounds like it was probably real knock then....
