Can do. I read through the thread, and want to clarify:

Does it just replace the valet mode? i.e. set valet mode to 0 and then alt maps to 3? Then key on (no start) and TPS to 100% for 3000ms (or whatever). I'm then greeted with slow flashing CEL, confirming alternate maps is enabled.

Start car, start evoscan and log mut00 (set to 0x8425) and it stays at 0 (I'm expecting at some point to see 3 here when alt-maps are on). I have not tried it on the road yet.

Hi Dave,

Lately I made some test with your V6 mod and I wanna ask you something.

Why I can`t get more than 1psi with V6 and with my map i can get 1,3 - 1,5 psi?

Did I miss something regarding the setup?

I try several times to see where is the clue but I was not able to get more than 1 psi.

If I flash also a stock version rom I get 1,2 -1,3 psi.

Can you help me to understand where is the issue with the tables?

Thanks

are you modifying the new 3d BWGDC tables? (ignore your originals as they wont do anything)

As I run a stock turbo an I still have the pill I don`t know if the setup that it was discussed into this thread is good for me.

I try with a setup based on fostytou post but still I get the same result.

Is the BWGDC only table related with issue?

The only people that have reported this thus far have had xml issues, setup issues, or had modified the wrong tables. Clean up your XML and make sure you are modifying the tables in the "tephramod" section (for BOTH alt maps and standard maps and BOTH BWGDC and baseline boost, they are all 3d tables now...)

Thanks Jon

I will try to check my files too.

Currently I just face some problems with my xml files since I change my laptop and I run now vista 64 comparing with vista 32 from the past.

The fact that you are running a different OS should have no effect on your XML files.

You may want to start with a clean slate by using a fresh copy of the default XML file for V6, and then carefully copying all your fuel, timing, immobilizer etc. values across from your old ROM.

I screw my xml files because of some conversion programs that I use to transfer some special data from my old notebook.

I just reinstall ecuflash 1.41 and I update new xml files from the old one.

Tephra xml for v6 seems correct so I don`t think that my xml is the problem.

I have the 96530706 V7t5 ROM installed on my car and so far everything seems to be working 100%.

But now I have problems when using the MapTracer function with EvoScan 2.6 Beta11.
The logging works fine, and when I got into MapTracer I get the following error.

If I flash the 69530006 V5.12 Rom on my car and do a log, then open with MapTracer, everything works fine.

I rely very heavily on the MapTracer function to tune the car and it would be a shame to have to loose the MapTracer function to use the V7t5 mods.

Any idea what might be wrong?

Thx for looking.

I don't know if this has been brought up or not, but turning on "ICS remember on poweroff" (or whatever its called where its supposed to remember that you turned your ics system on), does in fact not work with the 0706 V7t5 rom.

Its not a big deal, but I was testing that out yesterday and noticed it, and then tested it again this morning with the same results.

Other than that, I've been running the t5 rom for close to 1k and haven't had any other issues.

I assume you are refering to the 96530706 ROM v7t5.
I am running it and have no problems with that on my car. Remembers the on setting (or off) whichever I have set it as.

Double checked it again last night when I was enabling and base-lining some stuff in the rom, and now it works. Perhaps it just didn't go through the first time?

its all good now

What's everyone running for timing on the launch maps? I can spool about 20psi on the 35R in a second and a half with -3's and -4's from about 120 load on up, but I get a bunch of knock esp letting off. The ecu is further pulling timing at that point. I have added fuel in the affected areas to see if that resolves the issue, but have not had a chance to test the new settings.

I would post a screen shot of what i'm doing right now, but @ work I can't hook my laptop up to get the pic off.

Its freaking awesome, wraps the boost gauge over to 20, Belches out fire and noise :-D I'm sure my neighbors all really love me now.
