Ive been using my other laptop with windows vista for flashing recently but now that I tried switching to this laptop with XP when I install ecuflash it says that i cant install the drivers because something about the software not passing windows logo. Anyone else have this issue?

 

Maybe its a pirated copy of XP....

 

I downloaded it straight from the ecuflash website. and Ive never had any other problem with my xp

 

it is unsigned driver, just press continue and that should do it.

 

yeah you can basically ignore that and just continue on...

 

just click "Continue"... harmless.

I am also facing the same issue. I installed virtual xp, downloaded from Windows website in my office laptop (which has original licensed Win 7). I downloaded EcuFlash from tactrix website. When I try to install it says it cannot pass the windows logo ??!?? Help !! I just want to get my engine file. I am not trying to flash the ECU.

BTW I am using a cable ordered from Amazon (I am a new Evo X owner and new to these forums. I ordered before I read about Tactrix openport).
