need a dedicated tester for TephraMods
Hi Guys,
Normally I run new code up on my car before releasing it here.
Now that I can't do this (grrr!!!) I need to find someone that is willing to help me test new versions out.
Basically:
1) needs to have good communication skillz
2) needs to have a decent knowledge of patching/flashing/evoscan/tephramods so far
3) needs to have the time and patience to test
4) needs to be thorough in testing various features
5) preferably someone with ICS and the AltMap harness
I will be doing V7 very very soon, and need someone to help test out new features as well as OLD ones.
I have made a LOT of changes to V7 (from V6) and I expect that it wont work first go so I need someone with a lot of patience to go back and forth with their old ROM until I find and fix bugs.
Thanks dudes

V7 is a big rewrite of a few things.
that's why almost everything will need to be retested
new to V7 will be altmaps by TPS (like valet) and 0% WGDC on valet

that would be AWESOME! not sure if there would be any transitional knock issues though?

no you wont be able to use Valet AND AltMaps-by-TPS at the same time
Also AltMaps-by-TPS will only be activated/changed when RPM=0.
This was included because some guys don't necessarily want to install a harness and don't have ICS. It's not perfect (have to disable Valet mode, have to have the car off) but its better than nothing

Also AltMaps-by-TPS will only be activated/changed when RPM=0.

I just flash my car to switch maps. unless there was a good way to build a map that saved me gas but the way I drive, there's no point in changing maps. Now if I had an EBC or 3 bar solenoid, it would be a completely different story.
hey tephra so deos taht mean your not longer going to have the alt maps operation through the ecu pin anymore? (i haev my car set up with the aquamist kit so when ever i turn it on it swaps maps automatically). will i not be able todo that with V7?

I'd love alt maps by TPS. I have a switch now, but I only change when I change fuels and have only used the valet mode once or twice.
Would it be possible to do something like 5 seconds switch to altmaps blink 5 times, 10 seconds switch to valet blink 10 times (or vice-versa)? Then you could do both and just keep the two independent flags you are using right now....
