Issues and problems

Alright so I got a few issues I would like to ask everyone about for help.

First off im running stock injectors, ETS intake, amoung other things.

Currently my biggest issue is right now at idle warm or cold my AFR's sit around 18-20:1, and it causes the car to idle like crap.

So far to my knowledge the maf is scaled to where it should be and changing it doesn't affect things anyway.

I figure its mechanical but not sure.

In my logs the IAC steps sit around 62+ when they should be around 4, at least from what I know. So i some what suspect that as the problem.

My last question is, how accurate is 1byte load?

I dont have a MAP sensor installed yet so im just adjusting boost based on my boost gauge which reads very accurately.

Thanks for the help guys,

1. Increase MAF values more in the Hz at which it idles.
2. Increase idle speed
3. Put in the rubber intake pipe instead of ETS piece.

How are the trims? Your injector settings are good? Your idle trims may be way too high already, so they can't fix this.

IAC does not affect AFR, only idle speed. All air goes past MAF and gets measured.

Trims for low and cruise within -/+ 1 %.

Increase idle rpm? I already idle at 1000.

I dont have the stock rubber intake piece anymore.

If your idle is 18-20 AFR and your trim is +/- 1, something in this picture isn't right. Either your LTFT trims do not register at all (it's not 0.1008 or whatever is it?) or you maybe idle in a too high of a hz for idle LTFT to adjust... then you can maybe try lowering the idle.
Can you post the MAF scaling table? Or try upping values in corresponding hz?

Thats what I thought, and I jacked the values way up to see if that would help. I watch them change so I know its registering. I usually idle at 43 hz.

I'll go out today and verify its right on the trims.

Try 180-190 in 25-50Hz area for MAF and see if it helps.. (smooth those with nearby values.)

I'd say start by returning the MAF scaling table to stock, that looks wacko. Then, if you have it drop the rubber intake back on. I believe acamus was claiming recently that LTFT low will not adjust if airflow is greater than 35 hz (or something around that).
