Hello all
I have big problem after reflashing my E6 ECU with EcuFlash and noone can help me till now . I write to Colby (developer) but no result. Problem is that i change only speed limiter and reflash my ECU than every 5min ECU is switched off itself just like time bomb and engine run only at idle speed up to 1500rpm. I connect with different equipment for diagnostic including evoscan 2.6b and no fault codes ! All live data prameters is ok up to 5min after starting ! I mean that you can start car and car run normal but only 5min ! After that you need to switch ignition off than start again for another 5min .... Its 100% ECU reflash BUG due to EcuFlash software because i use other ECU and all is normal ! A made other test to proove that is bug and this ECU is damaged : i unmount all plastic covers behind gear selector and i find relays for EFI and Fuel pump. I just put bridge on place of EFI relay without starting of car , just ECU to have power on ! Than after 5-6 min i start the car and problem is same - only idle speed I try to reflash with original untouched file for that ECU but same result . EcuFlash write to some wrong areas and i cannot have salution to resolve the problem Maybe its good idea to find E7 ECU but i cannot find at the moment to buy

 

why dont you flash the original rom back and see if that fixes it?

 

I try several times but is same !Now i am with file for EVO5 some original from geekmapped and no change Also i try with other files and ECU stop on every 5min ...just idle speed .In attachment is mine ECU

 

If you flash the original rom back the problem (probably) is EcuFlash. Only Colby can help you.

Could this be an immobilizer problem? I'm not sure if the VI even had one but is sounds like it in my head

 

i disable immobilisers every day and 100% of cars cannot run or start than immidiately turn off ... no such problem with any brand car Also if this is immo problem than why no fault codes???
maybe i can disable but what to put in immo fields?

 

I'm pretty sure there is no fault code for an immobilizer. I don't know much about them, or even if your car has one, It just seems weird that your car is running for a little bit then deciding not to. Which is why I'm saying that might be the problem.

I write RA rom in attachment and car dead after 10min. I just back my original file that i post up in topic and now also is 10min timer That is small salution
In both files i try to change stationary rev limiter value but is not working ! The question is : what kind of TME upgraded Rallyart super NASA dump i need to flash to solve the problem ?
