yes sir,,,, My rev limt is 7996,,, and I set my RPM DROP @3000_rpm so that will
bring me @4996_RPM,, But I need to play with my settings to get it just right,,,
I need to Raise it a bit more

From what I can gather if you were shifting @ 8000 rpm and between shifts you are naturally dropping 1,500 rpm (which would put you at 6,500rpm) then an ideal shift point limit would be 6,000 rpm. That way in an ideal situation under ideal conditions you wouldn't bounce off the set limiter.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, I too am trying to gain a better understanding of this.

I still need to start playing around with NLTS, I'm just nervous about still being on the stock clutch :S

There are two ways of thinking about it. One suggests that if you are using less RPM than delta RPM you will be more likely to have a "mismatch" that causes acceleration. If you are on it enough to use NLTS, this might be preferred.

The other theory is that if you miss a shift/long shift/allow delta RPM to be greater than NLTS RPM for any reason it *might* cause less stress on the drive train.... the only problem is that is unlikely since you will probably just be jerking in a manner that causes the same stresses (or more when it instantly bounces back to power).

I think the appropriate setting is probably right around your actual delta RPM of when you are shifting (clutch disengage delta RPM if you will )... but as your graph shows, the differences are probably minimal.

If we can get tephra to do the newest patch I suggested maybe we won't have to set this value at all (RE: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7034553-post662.html ) (then the ECU could be smart enough to pick the right RPM so if you made your shift, all good, graph applies... if you missed your shift the ECU compensates and dynamically/continuously drops the limiter to match the speed for your gear.)

Man, that sounds awesome! I love how much people are getting out of our ECUs.
