Rom 52370024

Hi,

Sorry for the perhaps dumb questions, very new to this stuff...

Would this work for my JDM SST with the above ROM ID ?

Looking at the open ROM in EcuFlash I don't see anywhere to add any lines of text, how do you enter the required alterations into the ROM ?

Thanks

1) Identify your ROMID
2) open the XML for that ROMID in your ecuflash rommetadata folder (inside program files)
3) Open ECUFLASH / Open you ROM
4) Make the 3 changes as described by the name (ie 0x05 -> 0x23)
5) Save and flash the ROM
6) Either use evoscan or my logger and also grab the appropriate data.xml OR config.txt file (matching ROMID's)
7) log

MUT Table for Ralliart

HB Speed,

I noticed the release version of ECUFlash didn't have a MUT table. I went ahead and found it so you can use Mode23

<table name="MUT Table" address="3efc0">
<table name="X" elements="16"/>
<table name="Y" elements="30"/>
</table>

Thanks for the quick response guys, not being to sure I know what to add where at this point I think I shall just wait for Gunzo to send me the ROM already modified... as I got the ROM from him anyway.

gunzo is busy right now so I don't know if he'll have time to do this. You can send me your ROM and I'll enable Mode23 if you wish.

Do you have to change the ROM in some way related to the MUT tables before you can log with beta14? I don't have any MUT tables defined in my rommetadata.

Yes you have to edit the
05 -> 23
05 -> 23 #2
42 -> 52
in ECUFlash and no you don't need the MUT table because the addresses are already defined on the 1st page of this thread.

And if you need the one for 52360018, it's 9856c
