Help: Evoscan v2.2

So I decided to get back into the Ecuflash forums and get my Evoscan and Ecuflash squared away as far as Patches go. I haven't done a log on my car in a few months. I decided to open Evoscan v2.2 and a pop-up window came up asking me for my email address so I typed it in. Then it asked me for the serial number for v2.2 and I don't have it and don't know where to find it. I bought it so long ago I don't remember where I would have saved it. It's not in any of my saved emails or anything. I don't want to be forced to buy a new version since I have the old 1.3 Tactrix cable that I'm borrowing for a buddy. Can someone help me out?

Well I was playing around on the limitless site and decided to buy the 1.3 Openport Cable so I can stop borrowing my buddies. It prompted me to download Evoscan v2.5 so I guess it kind of solves my problem. I do have a question however. I just updated my Ecuflash to version 1.4.1 and everything looks fine. When I downloaded Evoscan v2.5 and installed it my C: Drive looks like it has v2.2 and v2.5 Should I remove and uninstall 2.2? I slow when it comes to computers so I'm not sure. The Ecuflash just looks like it got updated but this looks like I just have two programs now.

Multiple versions of EvoScan can co-exist alongside each other. For example, many users have the latest stable version i.e. v2.5 installed, and also a copy of v2.5 which they have patched with the v2.6 beta version. So no need to delete v2.2 if you don't want to, though I don't see the point of keeping v2.2 if you now have v2.5, since 2.5 has added features and bug fixes. If you want to temporarily keep v2.2 till you can verify you have v2.5 up and running properly, and want to make sure it's not using anything from the old v2.2 version, just rename the v2.2 directory. Then delete the old v2.2 version once you have verified v2.5 is working properly.

Also, for those users who have lost their serial number, just submit a helpdesk support ticket (http://www.evoscan.org/helpdesk/index.php?a=add), and for 'Category' select 'EvoScan - Lost Serial Number'.

Edit: P.S. Since someone's bound to ask, to get v2.6 beta ... make sure you have an official version of v2.5 installed first, then make a copy of your v2.5 directory and rename it to something sensible like 2.6 beta, and then unzip the patch on top of it. Patch can be found here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...en-review.html
