Hey I'm in dire need to disable this CEL since this is the only thing making me fail inspection. I know P0107 has to do with the MAP sensor but I completely removed the stock sensor and I'm using an AEM MAP sensor and an aftermarket intake manifold. Is there anyway to disable it through the ECU?? I have ROM ID 94170015

 

You MUST rescale the MAP sensor settings in the ROM so that the ECU "realises" it has a 3bar instead of 1bar

 

OK. Has anyone succesfully scaled an AEM 5 bar MAP sensor?

 

For some reason the code goes away on a low battery charge. Anyway to replicate this at an inspection station?

 

look at mrfreds 3bar map thread, you will need to work out the scalings for your sensor - but the tables you need to change are in that thread

 

For everybody's information, I patched my rom with the speed density patch and it took care of my CEL P0107 and I passed inspection. It should take care all the codes for the MAP sensor.
