I've never looked at a 3g's ecu with ecuflash... but something tells me it isn't scaled OVER 100 load. Since it is a non-turbo car.

upload/post your rom?

What are you logging with? Probably more importantly... what are you tuning with...

i have a evo8 ecu. tuning with ecuflash, using mitsulogger for loging get evoscan soon.
i cant upload my rom it on my friends laptop that im using to tune an log with. its
ROM 94170008 heres a link to download it, http://cid-e793ecc0167f4ec6.skydrive...se.aspx/Public i had to the timing an fuel curve back so it hit lower timing an afr at 100 load instead of where it should be.

Ok all that makes a lot more sense except the underlined portion. At which point I have no idea what you just said.

What load are you logging on mitsulogger? It's been a long time since I've used it. But honestly I think you are going over 100 load, - just not logging the right load so it's not showing you.

mitsulogger said i was hitting 99-100 load at most but was mostly around 95load at wot in any gear at any rpm. i had to adjust the timing an fuel maps according to this. so what was in the 160load had to be moved to the 100load to counter knock from adv timing an high afr.

So your load numbers are lower than expected under boost and its causing you to run lean and have too much timing. (Making it knock)

Yeah-ish. I've seen a few psi (5-6 maybe) around 100 load but mine has read screwed up since I put the Maft-Pro on and went SD.

My load reads lower. If yours does, maybe it's due to an intake / MAF issue?

I don't pretend to know the extent of your modifications... or what you are or aren't running. But typically weird load issues are the result of an intake and MAF scaling - etc. But it could be a lot of things coming from a different car / engine situation.
