quick question for evo scan 2.7. I want to log with this sensor installed, which parameter do i edit? JDM Map(sensor)? The XML file seems to be setup a little differently too, i can edit and add the formula without having to use the code.. as in go to logging in evoscan > dataxml> window pops up and I choose the one I want to edit.. this is proper or no? Im gona pick one up in a couple days, as soon as my paypal refund gets back from lancer shop.

Yes, you can right click and edit one of the fields you want to edit the formula for such as JDM Map with the correct formula and it will log boost

Appreciate the help. Im hoping to get rid of this studder that happens between 1900-3100 rpms in any gear at the right throttle postion usually very low to moderate. I think finding exactly what the boost is doing would be helpful, as i know the prosport gauge is off a couple psi according to the dyno MAP.

I can't figure out why this won't work for me. Once the ECU is reflashed, the car won't start. However, it starts fine with stock map/sensor.
I've triple checked everything and it looks correct. I'm confused. This is the first time I've ever had something not work.
Would anyone mind comparing these?

Perfect example of check the simplest solution first. Wow. I don't even recall looking at the immobilizer, let alone changing it (which would make no sense).
I was so focused on the new sensor values.

Thank you.

On the assumption that the user is starting with a stock MAP sensor, the instructions include some tables that need to be copied into the xml. However, if those tables are already present for some reason, then they do not need to be copied in again.

Right, they are present including the tables that were omitted in the text . Got my 4 bar map sensor installed and in a stock ROM easy enough. Gonna go v7 88950715. Then hopefully put a 1 in that soon

Did mod today on 88590015 and worked with no issue. Instructions were easy to follow and was up an going in 30 minutes including sensor change. Had to restart ECU Flash to get new code to take affect.

I think I have pushed the limits without a tune.

I have EVOSCAN 2.8.005. Went down to JDM MAP(request 38) and changed the formula. Make sure you check the box to show data. I think older version of EVOSCAN use a data.xml file that requires mod, but not the newer one as it was good-to-go.
