Hi, I'm having problems to get into the ecu... my ecu is the MD360164... I've already conect the obd pin 1 and 4, and nothing change...

if someone could help me...

P.D. I've read averything on the web about evo 5 and nothing helps...

and I can't register on openecu forum, it says that my ip can't...

DONE!!! I've make it xD... I have the rom on my pc now... the problem was the 1.42 ecuflash software... I've tried with the 1.41 and load my rom on the pc...

what cable are you using and what version of ecuflash ???
you can download the rom with the 1.3 cable but only the openport 2.0 can flash an evo 5 ecu
did you find the init connector taped up onto the OBDII loom ?????

I was able to get the rom, but I've tried to flash it and says a message that I need the 2.0...

I was using the ecuflash 1.41... the init connector was on one side of my obdii...

well, I'm going to look for a 2.0 cable...

 

i have an evo 5 and the 2.0...what I need to know is where do i connect...do i splice thru the ecu wiring which pins to splice into????, is there a port to plug in...please help I am getting frustrated......I cannot use the 2.0 on my evo5....
