Yeah Tephra makes a ROM specific for the dual-solenoid guys as well.

 

96260009 is the dual solenoid... i am happy for 94170015 guys to try that ROMID as well..

i don't plan todo a 94170015 - since really the problems in the other thread are the first time ive heard about it.

 

Yeah but it's not a show stopper though, the decel issue is apparent from the factory on all 2005 8's and all 9's. So when the 03/04 guys flash the 05 map the decel issue is apparent. So it is def. something in the tune we just need to find the map associated with the issue by comparing the data between the two. Prob. something with emissions if I had to take a guess.

 

well all i know is this was discussed ages ago.... so i would be suprised if that fix didn't fix this issue too??

 

please don't forget about 90550001, as there are a few of us using that rom with strokers and gt35's

Have to swap everything to a new ROM anyway, doesnt make much difference to me. Dave on a sidenote the software is WinOLS that I forgot to tag in that email.
