i may have missed a reply.. but has anyone else had any of these issues?:

after driving the car and parking it, the car doesn't like to start up right away. i have to let the car turn over for a few seconds before it starts.

while cruising on the freeway, if i am accelerating a bit (1-2psi) and then SLIGHTLY let off the gas for a slower moving car, the car jerks a bit as it slows down. then, if i give it a bit more gas (to slowly speed back up) it stutters again. i've noticed my AFR gauge reading full rich (only reads to 10.0) when this happens. maybe it's an injector issue? i had to "customize" my FICs to get them to fit my head. it seems to be dumping fuel between shifts as well, as it tends to fall on it's face a bit between gears.
we've been trying different things to combat this.. but to no avail. i didn't have a problem with v5, but i was also using different injectors at that time.

Sounds like a scaling issue or possibly a bov issue.

Loving this. I did a bit of searching and didn't see an answer to this question though..

How much crap can I remove from the harness and not affect the operation of the ECU assuming it's tuned speed-density and is outputting happy OBD2 codes? I ask since on my non-evo swap project the less wiring I have to do the fewer things I have that can go wrong. IE. pretty sure I can remove the MAF wiring, rear o2, emissions.. Anything else? IX harness and engine btw.

Okay maybe I'm overlooking something, but I'm having a bit of trouble logging lb/min in evoscan. When I originally downloaded V7 I was able to log it with no problem.
That was a while back, now I tried today and got some weird readings (its stuck at 204.4692) So I figured maybe I changed around one of the MUT addresses so I copied the entire MUT table from the factory V7 rom, and removed and reinstalled a fresh copy of evoscan 2.6 and copied in the data to the XML (so basically it's like I downloaded everything from scratch)
I honestly can't remember but was there anything else that had to be done to be able to log lb/min?

Set to 9 (0x9) to remove LOAD limit
Set to 9 (ox9) to remove FUEL limit

is that a typuh-graphic or on purpose, is the fuel limit o or 0?

G0t t0 make sure

it's 0x, as in the number, not the letter.

Added XML to file, now EVOSCAN loops

I just added the xml to the file in notepad and as I expected some were replaced, some were new. That part went fine, and Evoscan opens up fine. Connected to the car and start logging--- it loops bu connecting then resetting--- over and over and over. I originally tried the stock file to make sure all worked and it did just fine.

I am currently running:
The car is a 2003
Tephramods V796530706-v7 rom
Evoscan v2.8.0005
Omni 4-bar

The car runs and drives fine, and just needs tuning at this point as it runs lean under boost--- but that is more than understandable until any form of tuning is started and I know what to do with that when the time comes.

I can always post/ email the file if anyone needs to see it.

Appauldd, it actually doesnt matter, even at high elevation. As long was you know what load the timing and fuel maps are following and your logging that load, your all good.

Tephra any reason why you didnt make all versions of V7 BIGMAPs just follow 1/2byte? It seems like 9417 is the only one following 1/2byte. Probably would be best if they all followed 1/2byte load, so there wasnt any discrepancy about which load to log.

I just did some logging of different loads at elevation on 9653 V7.

Its seems that 9653 V7, despite what Tephra said, is following 1/2byte load aka LOAD_RAW.

Tephra, I thought you said that only 9417 V7 followed LOAD_RAW and the other V7 ROMs followed LOAD_BARO+TEMP_COMP?

Would you like to chime in?
not sure what I need to do to the MUT table on the 88950715 rom to log the proper load? Can anyone help?

What load do I log for fuel, and what load do I log for timing on a V7 setup?

I did read the bottom of the first post that covered it pretty well, im just not thoroughly understanding why!

Just 1byte load should be enough IMO.

I gave 96530706 another go last night.
Copied the MAF scaling, injector size and voltages, and copied the periphery settings from my 90550001 rom.

Still no go. starts, then coughs and soon as I give it throttle it chokes and dies, tried the same thing about 10 times, was reeking of fuel after that.
Had no time to reset the idle.
