Okay, so the flash sequence doesn't make a difference.

I haven't posted here in a while, but have there been an updates to any of the ROM's ie 88590715, where it is completely done. Decel tables and all, or are we having to still patch them into the Tephra v7's?? It seems there is always a new definition uncovered...

Thanks guys

It seems that most newly discovered tables you need to patch in the xml yourself.

8859 has more support more disassembly and more options. It does not support pops and bangs by using the sas system however. There are a few other small differences but mostly emissions related. Minimal work or research should e required to run 8859 on an 8884/8858 car. As in getting it to fire. The roms use two different base maf scalings and probably some other things. Nothing you can't tune out.

There should be a thread of newer discovered tables so that it is easy to find and compile into what roms they are for. sometimes it takes a while to find a newer table to implement into a rom because of this :/

Does that mean there are other definitions besides those that are available publicly, IE ISCV, advanced fuel control, etc?

Hell it's not that bad to do the work yourself. I even got newer disassem stuff done for 8858 by asking around. A couple hours a couple nights a week and anyone could have 8859 ( tremendous support for this one) completely compiled and reorganized. It takes a bit of skimming in the threads to make sure you understand. Basically if you have 8859: Look for mrfred iscv, advanced fuel control, ignition retard, obd bypass circuit, thermo fan tables, and probably a ciur more and edit the categories in your existing XML and the new stuff so that they place where you want them. Over the years a few people have contributed so categories aren't always intuitive per se.

I make no promises but I will try to get something going for 8859 soon. Most of my time now is spent figuring out closed loop idle and drivability on the standalone side.

Look in my 8858 thread there's a list of tables I added, that list is pretty close to what 8859 will need.

thermo fan tables
OBD circuit bypass
ISCV control
ISCV start up
Start up fuel
Fuel pump control
decel fuel cut resume
ignition vs iat trims and associated table
maybe one or two more i forgot about
ign retard limit
advanced fuel control: accel/decel enrichment

That's a start of what I added to 58, 59 will be similar.
