Yes your choice of roms 8858 or 8859, each having its own caveats. There *might* be a v5.10 8857 however I'm not sure ..

I say 8859 is the better choice though

Maybe it's in the repository? I haven't looked but the end user above can certainly look there and may be in luck .. Or a search for 8857 tephra might be better.

Ps, is anyone still using 8858? I was thinking of finishing my re-org/compile with 8859.

My question is...When using a dual map 93/e85, when you switch back and forth between the maps, what do the saved fuel trims do, do they reset at 0 when you switch maps, or does the ltft transfer from one map to the other?

Just switching maps won't reset your fuel trims

Recently purchased an Evo8 that apparently is running this Tephra mod for the dual map control. My question is, how stable are the ecu maps? I am needing to do some electrical work that will require the power to the car to be disconnected, coming from the DSM world were DSMLink has to have the tune reuploaded whenever the battery has been disconnected, does all of the tune stay in the ECU during a power down situation?

the tune will stay, but you will need to choose which map you were on as that info will be forgotten

oK fellas this is going to be a total newb question as i am just getting started with ecuflash, evoscan, tephra etc..so please bear with me.

my current rom is 96940011 from my usdm evo 8 (mostly stock) with the exception of an omni 4 bar map, full exhaust,& 272's. i got a map from a friend that got me in the ballpark for my mods. I actually figured out enough to patch in the o2 heater and resistor mod to get rid of the CEL for having no rear 02.

That being said I want to run tephera v7 and Im not sure which ROM to use. I was thinking of using 94170715 option 2 because it says its compatable with all evo8's and is already set-up for the omni 4 bar. Is there any reason not to use it and would there be any benefits of using one of the 96530706 options instead.

Thanks in advance- Ihave plenty more questions beyond this, but this will at least get me started.
