TephraMod V7
Hey. I am running now v 5.10, which have 'single" boost table. I wish to go with V7, but I wonder, what should I do, when I don't want to use gear based boost control? Should I paste my old "single" baseline boost map to every gear separetely or is it impossible to go V7 when I have disconnected gearbox harness ?
If you want only 1 boost table for each gear then you can just set it the same for each gear down the road, no RPM/speed ratio tuning required. You could also just set the rpm / speed ratio to force each gear to look like one of the gears.
In any case, there is no need for a "gearbox harness". The table is calculated based off of RPM / speed (unless this removes your speed sensor - WTF would you do that for?). The car does not naturally know what gear it is in from the factory. It couldn't hurt to have a dynamic map, so I'm not sure why you are against it.
My car is not Evo. It is like Evo: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3343359.
The problem is, that my speed sensor (that's because I was talking about gearbox harness) is not connected to ECU, so it don't knows (I guess) nothin about speed. That was the cause of my doubt.
Anyway - now I'm sure what should I do, so thanks very much !

94170715 seems to have a problem with the TPS theshold for NLTS in the defs, can someone look at at?
EDIT: Nevermind, my defs for that rom were pointing to evo7base instead of evo7base_new and the definition is missing.

Are there any US 03/04 users of 96530706 that are able to use their intercooler sprayer? Manual mode hasn't worked for me since switching from my original rom.
When I press the manual button, I hear a relay clicking, but I'm not sure what it is. It sounds as if it is in the rear of the car -- definitely not the pump in the front.

If we are seeing lots of the same questions asked over and over lets make a FAQ section in the first/second post. If someone wants to send me some i would be glad to add it.
Also, if we would like to create tephra patch release threads, i can close them and sticky them so we only have the files and FAQs then have a discussion thread off in the weeds similar to how the how-to threads work. Just let me know guys.

Making instructions and FAQ is the the best thing to do and in the first two posts not in a topic with 1400 posts lol.
Any particular reason that under NLTS settings the load is now set to be under the set load point instead of above? Is that a typo because I noticed after switching to V7 it doesn't work.
Edit: it should say above not UNDER, that had me all confused. I set it back to before and it indeed works.

I think the Wiki is a great place for some kind of tephraMod FAQ, but I don't have the time to start one right now. Many of the answers are already detailed there in the feature descriptions.

It has always been "activate above this load threshold". Why would you want NLTS at 50 load and no NLTS above 150 load?
