05 rs

ok i ams still unsure if anyone has gotten v7 to work with the 05 rs???? i downloaded the file copied over the xml to the said evo file in ecuflash and drug the tephra.bin file into ecuflash. opens up and all parameters seem to open and work. tried flashing with the included imobolizer code also did the 0x0004 and my original imobalizer code and nothing seems to let the car start. am i crazy for thinking this will work with my car or am i missing something?

WTF nothings ever easy. So i went to switch back to my v7 rom and the car wont start. I have the immob set to disable in the Periphery FAA bit 2. This is what i did last time and the car started right up. Im switching to v7 from 94170008, 2004 evo.

All those people waiting for 9055 to come out, I just switched my e7 ecu from 9055 to 9653, it threw a couple of codes but turning off the periphery bits fixed all that, seems to run very smooth only problem is launch control doesn't seem to work. funny thing though is that the launch maps DO work.

Are you sure your launch control worked before/that you waited long enough? The launch maps do not rely on the clutch switch, only speed and throttle parameters.

Disable the immob with periphery FAA bit 3. Set it = 0. Then give it a shot.

I know that it's because they don't have any "address" definitions in the XML file. I know how to make them show up, my question is why are they not available? Is there a reason for this? thanks
bump for answer, anybody?

You probably flubbored your xml. If it isn't ever mentioned as a change, its probably not some big secret across the community.

Please note that there are 2 pointers in the correctly defined XMLs. One defines the table (evo base file) and one defines the address (rom ID file). If you put them in more than one they may be greyed out / invisible if there were conflicting addresses.

That's the thing, when i downloaded the ROM(88590715 V7 + mods), a lot of the tables were transparent and I had not edited the XML file. After I saw that they didn't appear I went to check the XML and I saw that a lot of the tables had no addresses.

For example, the Injector scaling code looked like this(No address, wont show up in ECUflash):

<table name="Injector Size Scaling" category="Main Map Fuel Settings" type="1D" scaling="InjectorScaling"/>

And when I added this address which I got from the 88590015 ROM it showed up in ECUFlash

<table name="Injector Size Scaling" category="Main Map Fuel Settings" address="1106" type="1D" scaling="InjectorScaling"/>

Is this normal, do I have to add some of these addresses manually or what?
