Recently converted to V7 with no major issues. I was on pump(main map) at the time. Everything worked just fine. Boost, drive ability, AFR's, etc. I then put in some E to test out the alt maps. Everything is great, except for the fact I'm boosting lower than pump. I just copy/pasted my original values of WGDC main/alt to V7. I can't get any higher than 20psi on E. On pump, I was hitting 23-24 with no problems. Here's some attachments to look at to see if I did anything dumb. If these aren't enough, let me know what you need for further diag.
By the way, this is load based boost and not direct. I was looking to convert to direct after I tested the alt boost tables. Looks like that's on hold for now.

Any help is always greatly appreciated.

Edit: Notice my WGDC drops to 0 after the "max DC to x load". I have that table set to 170 load, which coincides with my logs.
I installed the direct boost patch to my xml to see if I could get different results- no luck. Pics in next post.

 

check to make sure ur TBEC is not off dues to the map change that will cause the car to clip off boost.

i know you probably only did a map switch but a boost leak maybe possible.

Here are the creen shots of my rom with direct boost contol. I was hoping this would fix my issue and it didn't. Boost adder is 14.5 (current elevation). I don't get what I'm doing wrong. Gotta be something stupid... I hope

hmm weird one, all the lines in properly?

IMO it must be something with your boost tables. i have never done direct based but it is and should be the same as load based with "different" names.

you are hitting 20psi across the RPM or spiking to 20 and falling off?

how does your other boost tables look?

Max WGDC to Temp, Min Speed for full boost control, etc (most of the tables i just named are the wrong names lol but you get the idea)??

do me a favor if possible. try to see if your get your desired boost on the MAIN map.

those MAIN tables are causing the problem.

BTW can you send me your rom? i dont have the V7 rom.

bump to see if my gear ratios are correct. Anyone just want to let me know if i have these wrong- could be part of my problem. This is the last piece of the puzzle for me- please help.

I've shown all pics of all my boost tables, except for the main maps- the WGDC is just lower.

Edit: my boost hits 20 and stays flat....no matter what changes I make. Notice the WGDC hits 100 and cuts to 0. It's never done this before I switched to V7, which makes me think that I did something wrong.

I want to hit 29psi and taper to 24. I was able to do this before on 5.10 with just controlling duty cycle (no direct boost control, just load controlled). Now with load controlled or direct controlled, I can't get over 20 psi.

I've decided to start over on a clean slate with the recompile v7. I've already noticed a couple of differences with boost tables, that I'm sure will remedy my issues. I'm transferring map data as we speak and tomorrow I'll give it a go. Thanks for the suggestions.

Any confirmation on what the the gear table is supposed to look like for a six speed? That's my only doubt at this point.

It was probably me lol. Just wondering if it was right. I'm trying to receive answers by playing the numbers game lol.

Edit: i DL the recompile bin/xml. I was transferring over all my stock values and notices his gear table was way different than mine and his didn't even match up to a 5 spd. That's why I'm curious about this whole thing. Also on the recomplile v7 DL, the IAT scaling is way off and I'm unable to copy/paste my stock figures to recompiles, says value too large to past or something of that nature. Wondering is that's the way it's supposed to be or if I'm doing something wrong.

 

I just double checked both phenem's download link and my own, both have the same RPM/Speed Table as the original Tephra v7 ROM.

Please note that the XML included in phenem's download was made by JoT. It uses different scalings (like MPH instead of KPH) than the numbers you are using in your non-v7 ROM. That explains the inability to copy/paste and why numbers look wrong when doing a visual check.

Try using the XML in this download, it should be more "normal" if you're comparing it to non-v7 ROMS:
