Need a definition for 96530006

Specifically I'm looking for the definition that points out the cruise AFR map for closed loop. I know I have it listed in my old 94170015 map, but I'd like to add it to my current v7 SD xml for an idea I'd like to dabble with. Thanks in advance!

What tables are you looking for exactly?

I thought I remembered seeing a map in my old 94170015 rom that was for closed loop afr control. Maybe it was some odd-ball definition I found floating around somewhere, or maybe I'm confusing it with the Apexi PowerFC and AEM programs. Either way, I'd like to find the address for it for use with my v7 96531706 rom. Maybe I'm thinking of the old boost enhancement enrich/enlean map.

Well there is the "Open Loop Load" tables. Its the switch points from going from closed loop to open loop.

For 96530006

<table name="Open Loop Load #1" category="Global Fuel Settings" address="3624" type="2D" scaling="Load8">
<table name="RPM" address="6594" type="Y Axis" elements="15" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

<table name="Open Loop Load #2" category="Global Fuel Settings" address="363a" type="2D" scaling="Load8">
<table name="RPM" address="6594" type="Y Axis" elements="15" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

There is also "Open Loop Throttle" tables. If you need those too, let me know.

EDIT- Oh after re-reading your post, that may not be the exact table you were looking for....

There is no closed-loop AFR map in any of the pre Evo 10 ROMs. There's probably not one in the Evo 10 ROM either, but I haven't looked enough to know for sure.

Thanks mrfred...I was kind of hoping there was one setup like subaru uses for closed loop, and the table I was thinking of from the 9417 rom was the boost enhancement table.

Mrfred, my question now is how does the ecu try and maintain the steady 14.7afr for closed loop? A voltage type of calculation based on the front o2 compared against the crossover table?

There is 1D table in the ROM code that sets the target closed loop AFR to 14.7. There's no point in posting the table value though because a NB O2 sensor is only capable of controlling AFR accurately to 14.7:1. Setting the 1D table to something other than 14.7:1 would do nothing other than cause the fuel trims to change to meet the 14.7:1 NB O2 sensor crossover value.

If you know it, could you post it for us? Those that use a wideband for closed loop could make use of it.

Its at 0x14E3E. Use the AFR16 scaling. Keep in mind that this will only work if the simulated NB output on a WB O2 controller is fed into the front O2 sensor. It will not work with the WB analog output is fed into the front O2 sensor.
