Anyone have the latency data from FIC for these? I purchased a set from FIC right when they came out but they didn't come with the data sheet.

Use the data I have, its the right stuff. I can look and see if Jens put the data on the last set I ordered.

My FIC sheet reads as follows. Got it in my hand, so these are correct.
8 volt - 1.51
10 volt - 0.99
12 volt - 0.71
14 volt - 0.51
16 volt - 0.40

I don't doubt you settings, but they are going in my mr2 so I can't use the ECU flash values.

Tim at FIC just emailed these values in case anyone needs them. They are slightly different than what GotWheelHop posted, not sure why?

For anyone considering these for pump gas, I am currently running them on a pretty stock evo. It only has a TBE and HKS Filter on it.

So far I have been able to get my Idle AFR's around 12-13's and cruise is good high 14's-15's. During tip in the car will go pig rich and then it will lean out accordingly.

I used all of JB's settings.

Today, I had to make a 500mile round trip. I got about 300 miles to the tank on these injectors. That is with about 210 miles each way of highway 80-100mph and 40miles at 25-55mph.

Cold/Warm/Hot start on the evo is perfect, idle is a little choppy and if you hit that gas to hard it will stall. With the A/C on the car will also like to stall.

johnBradley..

I need some help figuring out some weird issue I have, I used your scaling and latency settings but for some odd reason the car at WOT is lean. I must have added at least 20% more fuel in the fuel map 100+ load to the entire boost tables and made no changes on the dyno. I have the FIC 2150cc and a single walbro in tank. is it just that im loosing fuel pressure up top where a double pumper is a requirement with these injectors?

I previously had FIC 850cc and everything was working perfectly fine.

If i have the scaling at 1624 and at 14v @ .520 the car starts super rich and idles @ 10 AFR's. only at .460 will it idle fine. but WOT is in the 13s.
with the scaling at 1850 and latency at .528 it will start and idle a little rough and WOT is in the 14s.

but my fuel table is 8s until 6500 but im rediciously lean..
btw im SD tephra v7 06 IX

I have the same issue. I went through today and added tons of fuel to themap, and my car runs 12.7-13.0afr's. I am only running stock boost.

You can compensate for both with the SD tables. The tables posted in this thread need updated. I have posted my thoughts on setting up SD elsewhere as well to help. It sounds like you need to play with the RPMVE for your idle issues and the MAPVE for your lean condition under boost. Obviously if you have a huge turbo and only the one 255 you will be out of fuel, but from the sounds of it you are facing SD setup issues.

Is this also on SD?

thanks for the quick responce john, what i would really like to understand which I have yet no way comprehended is exactly what these tables are affecting? I understand you raise or lower and they will adjust your fueling. but how exactly are they doing that in correlation to what?

I included a picture to show what my current settings are, I have played around with all tables to try and get the car ironed out but unfortunately I haven't understood what and how they are working so I cant effectively fix my problem.

SD MAP VE - this is shifting my fueling back/forward with the load tables ?
SD RPM VE - this scales the fuel map so my actual map # values are richer/leaner?

also I noticed manufacturer injector voltage latencies are a bit higher than what you posted, now raising and lowering the # will affect your fuel but is there a certain lacenty that overall works best and we should just set it there and workaround the fueling via the MAP or RPM VE's ?

I have an FPRED running about 26lbs. car made 450whp with 13AFR tapering to 12 @ redline with 0 knock(i was not able to richen it up anymore with my setting up SD issue.) . looking to switch in the double pumper asap and hop on e85 but once I have the double pumper by fuel is now going to be richer i presume so understand which one the RPM or MAP ve is what i will be to play with to sync the extra pressure down a bit?

thanks again for your time!

I am running MAF still. On a base 96530006 map. Before my car would run richer with lean spool enabled. Once I Disabled this, I cannot get the car to go richer than 12.7-13.0 at WOT.

Patches:
Min IPW
ISCV stuff to reduce throttle hang
Disable Lean Spool

I also do not have an EGR block off plate in the car. I will get rid of the EGR and FPR stuff this week and see if that helps out.

So here are the basics for me.

05 RS
FIC 2150cc
TBE
HKS Filter
Everything else is OEM even stock boost

Current Max Duty Cycle is

3800rpm/206 load = 18.24%
6700rpm/170 load = 26.85%

Which load are you logging? In the v7 rom you must log baro+temp compensated load for fuel... if you are following 1 byte that is for timing only and you may be adjusting the fuel tables in the wrong cells... just a thought...

your RPM SD is the main issue its lean. Higher numbers are richer, lower are leaner. Also on the MAPVE you have it WAY rich at tip in and not quite rich enough (again higher number, this time on the right side) at WOT.
