orig: "88580014" and flashed into "88580015" then car wont idle

Hi,

Anybody who wants to share a stock 88580014 rom file?

Here's the story:
I flashed my 1860A603 ecu w/ a "88580015" usdm rom file and the car won't idle after. Are they compatible? Only mod I did on the "88580015" was to disable the immobiliser code at FAA from 56da to 56d2. I'd like to bring it back to the orig rom but haven't created a back up. Anybody who has a 88580014 file?

Thanks.

Alvin

1. Alvin, after reflashing your ecu is lost Fuel Trims, so it need some time to calibrate it again ... Just leave car running for an 10-20 minute, after u start the engine .... And Idle will be ok.
2. Use Evoscan for CEL codes ...

LeXcite,

I see. I'll get evoscan.
I've tried that but the car just dies down when you release your foot off the throttle.
It can't idle below 2k rpm so you need to press the throttle to idle.
Maybe there's something off on the USDM rom that's not applicable on the Australian ECU/Car.

Alvin,

I'll be in QC in a few days, I've got 88580013/88580014 that I can email you for the time being.

When I'm there maybe I can help you out.

Let me know (I've got access to EvoScan).

I'll be just off Mindanao Ave/Sauyo Rd. Tsaka kung sakali i-upgrade mo na lang to Tephra Mods V7.

Thanks. That would be great. I'm new to late model evos. I came from a dsm/evo123 rechipping background.

I'll PM you my cel number. I've already downloaded an 88580014 and I will try it later to see if the idle problem goes out.

Ok, whats the difference with the tephra mods? Is it the same image w/ different addresses to accommodate the mods? That goes w/ an XML file right?

Hey guys,

Problem solved! Brought back the 88580014 on the 1860A603 ecu and everything went to normal.

I also noticed that ecuflash wont connect if battery voltage is less than 12v.

Thanks!
