wideband narrowband simulator for 9653

hey i saw a thread were you can use the wideband to simulate front o2 sensor in the ecu. but i searched and could not find 1 for the 9653 or 9417 rom. any ideas? i just dont feel like jacking up my car in thuis cold weather when i can just pop the hood and remove the o2 sensor and put in my wideband. lol

I thought that was a function in the wideband it self and not the ecu? The Zeitronix has a narrow band simulator... I dunno if that helps

And ecu patch isn't needed and it isn't rom specific. Some wideband controllers (such as the innovate LC-1) have a 0-1v output. You simply remove your front o2 sensor and wire this output in place and the ecu will use the wideband sensor instead.

d

EDIT: it's important to note that nothing is being "simulated" here. The ecu is still using an o2 sensor for closed loop fuel control.
EDIT2: wow, i'm really giving out useless info this week. :-p

they are asking about mrfred wideband control patch - uses the wideband for closed loop fueling in lieu of the oem narrowband.

As far as i know its only available for the 88590015 - IX rom to date....
