I'm having a problem reading my rom image from my evo X. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the lastest verision of Ecuflash two times now. I dont believe its a driver issue because I can write and test write. anyone out there with any ideas?

Ive read my image in the past with this laptop....and for some reason one day it stopped. Now i can only write and test write.

I also have a different laptop having the same problems. so I thought maybe it was the ECU.

But heres the kicker...I brought the car to the tuner today and he was able to read no problem.

please help!

 

Did you try Ecu unlocker?

 

The Ecu is not locked......I can still write and test write.

Yeah I had recent troubles with my cable as well... I could smell a burnt plastic smell before I tore it apart to find that it had burnt part of the circuit board. However, mine seemed to flash ok and just not log... Good luck!

 

Cable seems to be fine. The tuner used my cable with his laptop...and everything was fine.

Logging with evoscan has not been a problem. The only this I can't do is READ with Ecuflash. Strange!!

 

Any updates on this? I am having the exact same issue, can write, and log fine but no read???
