Quick one (i Hope)!

Scaled some injectors (770s) got the trims in nice, however, when the car is at idle the WB is seeing 15AFR - good.

once u start driving between 1500-2500 RPM the car goes to 10AFR (WB reading). Not sure what causes this, but it goes back to the map readings @ 3000rpm or so (15.2 WB AFR).

the car is in closed loop, open loop tables are stock.

in addition, when the car is WOT in full boost the WB reads 10.1 AFR (WB reading) while in the AFR map it is 11.4!!

i am suspecting the MAF scaling is off, Fuel Trims are in nice (+5/-5 on all - less on STFT)

any advice is fine, i have always read that once fuel trims are in MAF rescaling is not really required.

PS: this happened on the stock injectors as well

Thanks in advance.

unfortunately, logs dont have WB AFRs. load is 1byte @ 260 down to 250. timing is in check, conservative but in check. TPS @ 100% during WOT.

during cruising the between the RPM 1800-2500 the car swings rich no matter what TPS - light throttle AFR on WB is 11, if you go flat out it swings to 10

i am not sure on the WB though, i hope its not faulty cause it reads well on idle, granted the car is closed loop.

i suspect MAF scaling??

yeah its common for a WB to be able to read idle fine, but be squewed rich or lean

u need logs dude - so we can see IPW to see if it translates into AFR ...

What brand are the 770's? That's an odd value. Are they low impedance?

Also, in case it wasn't obvious from the 1000x posts about it... AFR values in your ROM are not supposed to represent actual real world output. If there is a mismatch this is fine, there is an arbitrary calculation to go from bits to something that only "looks" like AFR.

yup i know that but it is off by 1.5 points, to me this is excessive. if i tune out the problem like you say, then @ 2000RPM the map would have 17AFR in the map for the WB to see 14.7 AFR. something is up, i need to do some more digging.

Injectors are detashwerks (spelling). same happened with the stock injectors.

is there a calculation from IPW to AFR?

this is a JDM VII, 9055 rom.

yeah no worries, but it seems to vary across the map rather than being consistent.
