I believe FCA Bit15 is emissions related

P0443, P0446, P0403,P0243, P0090, P2263

(from my EGR removal thread... "Change periphery 2 (FCA) bit 15 & 14 & 13 to 0 (to disable EVAP checks if you removed these solenoids)" )

If mine is working and yours is not, maybe we should compare the two roms. I have a hex compare tool on one of my machines...I think.

Can we get some closure on whether the 96530706 revlimiter works?

From a code point of view its the exact same as 88590715 - so I can't see a problem...

I've never had any problems with them working.

Ditto. I'm unable to re-check right now as the car is down, but I recall having no trouble whatsoever setting the stationary rev limit to whatever I needed for launch map testing.

As for the actual rev limiter, I can't say one way or the other. That's not something I test regularly.

I switched to the "new" rom. Rev limter and stationary both work great now.

Works just fine on my personal 05 Evo with 96530706. I have no issues what so ever running 9653 other then having to turn off the Idle test CEL, and the PSI/LOAD settings incorrect in the XML.

I just took a drive from sea level to 10,000 feet the last two days as well. No issues at all.

Per the discussion in the 9417 thread, I suspect he's done with 9653 at this point.

Scanning back through the thread, it looks like evo8dad and 3gEclipseTurbo also reported the problem; if either of you guys are reading this, can you weigh in?

Yeah, you are right....I did switch to 94170715. The issues is completely resolved for me.

I apologize for not following through with this thread, but I am concerned for the safety of my vehicle and do not want to risk over reving and causing severe damages. I hope you can all understand.

I haven't tried the fixes yet. Will do soon.

Applaudd - the new 94170715 that has been released, is it SD compatible? I assume it has the v7 stuff included as well?

Nevermind - I just downloaded 94170715 and saw it is not SD compatible.

Tephra - I'll log the requests your asking for on a non-SD car as well as a SD car and post up the results. I can do the non-SD car tomorrow but, the SD car will have to later next week (needs a new battery). Hopefully this will give you some insight into what's up with this issue as I'd rather stay with the 9653 ROM.

I wanted to log mut00 & 01 but, couldn't get it to log. What is the correct .xml entry I should have in the data file?
