also use evoscan and see if you can actually control your car with it still.. activate the fuel pump and see if the relay kicks it on etc

I checked all the fuses, I can activate all actuators test with evoscan. Fuel pump and fans turn on. Its like the ignition circuit is dead or something set the immo in no start mode.

its deader than a door knob.

I had a 10A fuse under the hood blow and couldn't start the car no matter what I tried. Changed the fuse, and everything was all good.

Have you tried pulling a spark plug out to confirm there is fuel getting into the cylinder?

Have you tried pulling off a spark plug wire, attaching a free spark plug, and holding the threads of the plug against a ground whilst cranking to confirm spark? Use wood or plastic tongs!
May need to crank it with garage lights dimmed to see spark. Should be able to hear spark as well.

I checked all, except for the 2 pair of 10 amp held by a yellow plug, I could not figure out how to remove them.

Today a freind is coming by I will try my ecu in his car.

The pair in the yellow plug can only be pulled by using a pair of long needle nose pliers.

Don't forget we have 2 fuse boxes...one under the dash behind the knee cubby tray and the other under the hood.

so where exactly is this ignition coil fuse? under the dash or the hood? Was it just a coincidence or did the flash somehow damage that fuse...in other words, why did the fuse blow in the first place?
