You're kidding, right? BTW, I'm not sure where you got the two tables on the right, but they are not correct.

Nope, not kidding. Why do you say that?

The table defs came from the v7 thread and I haven't changed them. I thought it was odd that there were a few tables with the same values. Do you have the correct addresses?

I asked about the kidding because isn't there a table in your picture that says "Initial Cranking I..."? That's the Initial Cranking IPW table. The table next to it reduces the cranking IPW as a function of time. The two tables on the right are incorrect and can be deleted from the xml.

I am switching over to e85...tomorrow night after work.
I have studied this for over a year. And yet I still have questions:
After I install fuel pump (DW301) and injectors (FIC1100) should I:
1. Fill up with e85 and start with scaling and latencies I've seen on this thread for e85 and adjust from there?
2. Fill up with 91 oct (premium out here in CO) gas and adjust scaling and latencies?
3. Either way I understand the scalings will be different for e85 and 91 oct, but will the latencies change too?

Fourth and final question is:
4. Should I rescale my maf before I do the fuel pump and injectors? The way I understand it, it may be a good idea and when switching over to the new fuel pump, injectors and e85 those won't change the maf in theory.

Thanks in advance!

if the injector settings are good, then latency values do not need to be changed between gasoline and e85. only reason to tweak maf scaling on an 8/9 is for an aftermarket intake that alters the maf reading.

Great service from FIC Ordered a set of these last Monday and received in Brisbane Australia on Thursday. Installed that night and with my set up run better than the stock injectors, much smoother and only hitting 53 IDC. Turbo upgrade soon will make good use of these.

I scaled at 975 (943 was OK but drifted to -4/-4 LTFT's over time) (on Aussie 98RON, US 93 octane and MAF) with the following latencies:

4.69........5.304
7.03........3.336
9.38........1.968
11.72.......1.368
14.06.......1.008
16.41.......0.840
18.68.......0.720

Fuel trims have settled at 0.2 (low) and -0.58 (mid)

I've done a lot of logging with EvoScan before and after installing and now I have more constant volts (battery) reading during WOT ramps. Volts seems always a bit lower now (13.6 - 13.7) With stock injectors volts would drop, maybe due to much higher IDC's?

I'm at 731

5.64
3.552
2.136
1.392
1.032
0.912
0.816

Are my injectors scaled too low? I did it in April, so I can't recall why I did it at that setting. Sucks getting old

Re: post #83, what are your LTFT's like, low and mid?

As long as the car starts and runs good with LTFT's within the +/-10 range you should be happy

I'm running open loop bc I wanted to have my cruise at 17 afr on E85. Before I disabled closed it was at -3 LTFT. It runs good, but it could always be better. It just threw me off to see someone scaled to 975.

Resurrecting from the dead. Anyone else running these injectors having issues with how loud they are? My stock injectors would leak at the manifold even with new seals so I shaved like 1mm off the fuel rail spacers to make the injectors get pushed into the manifold more. When I installed the new injectors I used the shorter spacers for like one month and then replaced them with new spacers. Is it possible that the different parts of the injector are "squeezed" together too much now from the shorter rail spacers or are these just naturally loud as sh*t? I love the performance and the idle and cruise and wot are mint. I just hate how loud they are its so loud it sounds like a lifters gave out but its 100% the injectors making the noise not valve train related. Any thoughts guys? Or other ppl running these injectors have the same noise issue? It's so loud I might sell them and go low z 1050 or 900 instead. I only got the 1100's to run e85 which I don't think I'm going to do anymore anyways after investigating the fuel consumption with that fuel. I don't want to have to fill up the tank every time I pull out of my driveway lol.

Loud exhaust is already taken care of lol and I'm having Cosworth M3's installed in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the heads up, so I guess its just normal. Just out of curiosity I know the latency goes directly off of battery voltage so would a small battery effect the injectors in a manner that could induce louder clacking. That's what it sounds like btw, clack clack clack lol.

Don't like to bring a thread back from the dead, but does anyone have a scaling and latency for E85? I drive an Evo 9 with a MAF, stock 2.0L motor, and all the bolt-ons. Thanks!

I bought a set of these injectors earlier this year and just installed them yesterday. The data match sheet that came with them listed serial numbers for each injector. However, I can't find any matching numbers on the injectors. What gives? Did I get the wrong sheet with my injectors?
