SpoolinUp SD plug-n-play harness development
#1-14 can contact me. We'll do $99 plus $5 to ship ($104) for the first two batches of 19 then work from there.
http://www.spoolinup.com/products.html shows how to remove the retainer from the stock MAF connector.
I'm going to build a test rig for the harnesses, but for the first batch it looks like I'm stuck with usint a multimeter to "ring" them out to make sure I didn't mess up. That will be no fun.
Still working on the finer details of the baro....that will be available later. The long of the short is, and I quote mrfred:
"Matt has identified a potential issue with using aftermarket sensors with the baro ADC input. On 2G ECUs, the pulldown resistor value is relatively low (3.3 K ohm vs 100 K ohm on many of the other ADC inputs) leading to high current demand on the sensor signal output."
We are hoping the EVO ECU does not have this issue. If it does, another circuit coupled with the baro will be necessary!

The harness uses common connectors that will plug into whatever you want. I won't change the connectors.

This is good stuff, good work on the harness. At this point though I'm more intrigued about the SD 2.0 with baro compensation and the such, harnesses are a walk in the park for me considering I build mil-spec radar harnesses from scratch lol.
Of course (and not to rain on anyone's parade
) if you think the harness is the hardest part, just you wait until the tuning lol.

Perhaps it would help, but there are still a bunch of "unknowns" in 9653 and how SD interacts. The implementation of 3D VE I think will help a lot of the weird actions along with baro calculation added back in. This cable is just one more link in the chain to seeing SD become a common conversion, and one for the better I might add, that will probably become the standard in the near future.
Wow, my timing was right on with this, going SD soon. Thank you guys for putting this together, it really is awesome for the community!

psphinx81, Monochrome, check your PM's.
Guys I printed up the labels. They will be in tomorrows mail.
