US ACD bleeding with EVOScan

Has anyone gotten this to work? V2.7 supports this but it won't connect to my EVO 9 ACD ECU.

There are easier ways to bleed the ACD w/o use of EvoScan or a MUT tool.

Ignition on, gas pedal to the floor for 10 seconds....presto. ACD pump will be activated and adjust fluid levels as necessary.

That is not working with my car. The pump is good. The ACD ECU won't activate it for some reason.

Can you hear the pump activate? How does this "bleed" the unit of air?

Yes you can hear the pump activate. There is a bleed screen on the bottom of the transfer case. You open this when the pump activates and close when the pump shuts off.

^^^Thanks, I tried this yesterday and heard a click and that was it. My process was turn ignition to ON but not started and push the gas to the floor.

Anyone have the ACD Error code list?

These are from my Evo VII service manual, so I am not 100% sure if they match USDM cars... proceed with caution.

Thanks, that is helpful. I am going to use the Pin 1 and 4 short method to try and see the error code. If not then I will have to find an OpenPort 2.0 cable or someone with a MUT III tool.

Mine was doing this as well. It finally started working after taking the car out for a drive. After that, I was able to "throttle bleed" the system.

The ACD gas pedal bleed doesn't work all the time. But it does work 90% of the time IME. If you are just bleeding it - you could try a fresh ignition and then shut the car off and see if that makes it work again.

It's a little inconsistent at times, but it should work.

No need to get under the car and bleed it?

Yes, you need one person under the car to open the bleeder while another is pressing the gas pedal.
