This is a known bug. Switch to another version of Evoscan. It has to do with using the UEGO over USB in Vista/7. v2.7beta3 has worked the best for me, and v2.7 should be coming out in the near future.

make sure your wire connections are 100% PERFECT

specifically the ground wire and blue serial output wire.

another thing you can do is to log without the wideband. if evoscan continues to log without any problems, then you need to recheck all your UEGO serial wiring.

Try using mitsulogger to log. I can log with Mitsulogger with AEM but not evoscan. I will recheck my wiring when I get around to it.

I solved the problem with
buying a 1.3 tatrix cable, and using mitsulogger 2.0
no problems or issues at all
I believe it had to do with Windows7 and evoscan compatibility

EvoScan v2.7.0036 works perfectly with Windows7 both 32bit and 64bit.

I have windows7 and AEM wideband in my car so I know it works great.
