Are you running the stock ecu and are we talking about the stock stationary rev limiter or is this an additional limiter from one of the later mods? Better yet, can you show a screen shot of what you the limiter is set to from ECUFlash?

5781 is what the stationary rev limiter is set to. it will work at first and then after you use it for to long it just stops working. if i turn the car off and back on it will work again. its very weird. I dont launch much as it is since i got a lot of torque to break stuff, but when I do go to use it i want it to work right! - im using tephra v7 rom.

Which ROM variant are you running? I had issues with my stationary limiter at first. I had to source a fix for it since it wouldn't work. Ziad has a thread with a fix that you add into the XML. After using it, and setting my launch maps to max rich and -10 timing, I can build 25psi on the stationary limiter VERY quickly. This is on 96533706 by the way.

A quick search of the "Driving Techniques" section shows post such as these:

Where it points out that you have to use the clutch to get this to work. If you are not using the clutch at all and having this work then something else is wrong with the car, or some modification to the rom has not been applied properly on the car or there has been some new change in how the feature works in the modified rom you have.

That's part of the reason why I asked for a screen shot so we could see what value you are looking at in ECUFlash to determine what the limiter is set to.

In the meantime if you could do the following tests and report back it would be nice:

1) Stop the car completely
2) Put the car in neutral and rev until you hit the limiter. Report back the rpm that

1) Stop the car completely
2) Handbrake up
3) Clutch in
4) Rev the car until you hit the limiter. Report back the rpm that the limiter bounced off of.

Same as above except after step 3, but the car in 1st gear. Report back the rpm that the limiter bounced off of.

It might only work with the clutch in, but i could have sworn it worked with just the car in neutral and ebrake up. Cars on jackstands right now in garage im swapping out suspension and bushings etc. I dont wanna do it in the garage, because its gonna probably throw soot from the exhaust.

Its tephra v7 rom 94170015 - Ive not modified anything on it other then disabling the load limit since i hit around 440 load.

The rest of the stuff is basic stuff. Edited some knock multiplier, timing map, fuel map, stationary rev, idle rpm, yada yada.

Even if it only works with the clutch in it still stops working sometimes. Like the first post i made in this thread, I was on it and while yes i was on a hill, it started to move, couldnt have been no more then 3mph and it just stopped working. Is there a way we can up the MPH so it can be used going 5mph?

Heres the values in my rom:

I dont want to build 25psi, i would blow up my rear diff, as its still stock
Just bouncing off with no timing retarded i can build 10-14psi.

rom 94170015 v7 - 4bar map, phenom, with some tweaks.. nothing to do with stationary rev tho.

I have the same issues I think with my 2 step. Sometimes it just skips my set limit and bounces off the while moving rev limit letting. This is with a 100% non moving vehicle also. It's just random, and under the same conditions always. (no launch map turned on). It's annoying as hell, and my old VIII NEVER did this kinda crap with V5.
