I can build 22-25psi in about 2 seconds on launch maps. 7.4 across the board for afr, and -10 timing, at 6250. It also shoots one hell of a fireball. I wouldn't dare to launch at that kind of boost though.

Real world conditions, fuel map is set to about 10.5afr, with 5 degrees advance. 5900 rpm. I get minimal boost at launch, but the shock to the driveline is minimal also.

*edit* I don't just mash it, I blip to get the rpm up, then mat the pedal once I get to about 5k

2.3 stroker, with a gt4088r.

timing is at -6 and I make about 18psi and can get a 1.6 60 on street tires. After 4 of those passes I had to send my tc to shep.

Lol were you slipping the clutch it just dropping it? I was thinking about trying it out, but I might wait a little more...

I was considering that clutch next as well ... I think I might just cough up the dough for a twin disk. I have launched many times but not with the launch maps.

I would give 6000 a try as that is what I see alot of successful setups doing. That 500 rpm can and will make a difference.

Ill increase it to 6000rpm and have a go over the weekend

How do you make the transition smoother from launch maps to normal maps, i mean how can going from -10 to say 15 be smoother?

Using the above as an example

Bumping as well... To add some data...

We were trying to get the car to carry the launch map thru all of first gear and then get it to transition on shift to 2nd. Still didnt have enough time to dial that in but it seemed as we were getting closer. The other thing we tried doing was to run the car a little leaner on launch, to the point of no knock, but borderline. The problem that occured was of course the car was getting hot and then we'd experience knock thru the pass and it wasn't worth it. In the end we reverted back to the standard 2 step until more testing can be done.

If there is anyone that has got something that is working, share the wealth

+1 for sharing, i cant get the car to not knock on launch map, and as above its not worth it as it stuffs the whole pull.

I have also gone back to the stock stat rev limit for now
