Push pedal slowly until rpm reaches limit and then slip clutch. Tempo of the clutch pedal is the key to clutch drivetrain health.

we are playing around with it....

we have it building about 18 psi from the gates, which we want a little lower. Then we are running to an issue with a bit too much fuel during launch causing us to bog. Haven't quite dialed it in yet, but we are pretty darn close.

That is one of the things we are playing with... using TPS to achieve a lower boost setting as well as reducing the amount of fuel during launch.

The transition is the most difficult part, but what we are trying to dial in is the shift.... I'm trying to make it so we are on the launch map thru 1st gear and when the shift to 2nd comes up its in the transition phase.

I was using the V7 launch map on the red and was building up 16psi at 5750 rpm. I had awesome launches!
now, i changed to the SD V7 map, and every time i let the clutch out to launch, the engine will just die. it will take a few seconds to start back up as if the engine is flooded.
Any idea's on what could be wrong?

You mean it will bog and die? Or just instantly die?

This is what we are experiencing. The car that we are using for the test car is our owners SD VIII. Exact same problem... we have gotten it better... it wont die, but does seem flooded. We have almost got it worked out though. Need a handful more track passes to finalize it.
