Increasing Idle

Hey Guys,

Ive been trying to increase my idle, at the moment its about 850, i want it around 1000-1100

I have gone into my map and increased the desired idle RPM, this made no difference to idle at all.

So i went back in at increased my ISCV steps Idle Neutral No AC about 20 this increased idle a little bit, and i was happy, but this morning the car is back to idling like it was before around 850 WTF

Am i missing something?

From searching around i believe i need to do a BISS adjustment using evoscan.

Once i set the adjustment to 750 using evoscan i the idle should then reference what i have inputted in Ecuflash correctly.

Sound right?

Not so urgent now i got the car to idle, i just adjusted the screw until it hit my target idle of 1070-1100 ish.

But its not the proper way to do it, Evoscan will not enable SAS mode, nor will it activate my thermo fans

It says ECU not responding, but i can log flash etc fine

hate to see someone getting no help. I had the same issue with EvoScan 2.5 last night out of nowhere. It kept giving me an error when I tried to do anything with it. Something about not converting integers... For acutators, logging, etc. I uninstalled/reinstalled and it worked fine afterwards. I use 2.1 for normal logging, but use 2.5 for reading/clearing codes and actuators. Im probably not the best advice with my current idle issues. But verifying fuel trims are good, then setting the BISS with the actuator working should be the best approach, assuming there are no leaks.

i'm not sure how the actuators in evoscan work...but i also just upgraded to tephra v7... i know for sure just to see i checked my fan acutator and it worked fine..fan came on..

i know when i wasn't using v7 they all worked fine.

My Idle is good now i just adjusted the BISS but its not the proper way to do it,

I want to activate SAS mode which locks the ISCV so i can set the base RPM correctly then it will target my Idle values in my tune,

Im using v2.7 tried 2.6 clean install and different computer
