I have a feeling you leave the new number. When I place my old ECU ID into the field it removed the TephraXMOD V1 tables from the ROM.

I'll still wait for someone to respond that knows what they are doing.

As long as the first 4 numbers in the ROMID are the same then you should be good to "upgrade" to these ROM's

Ahh you probably don't have the cranking enrichment scaling defined your evo10base.xml:

please add the following to your evo10base.xml file

Code:
<scaling name="TimeInjCranking" units="ms" toexpr="x*0.005" frexpr="x/0.005" format="%.1f" min="0" max="500" inc="1" storagetype="uint16" endian="big"/>

Yes as long as the first 4 numbers are the same 53050109 is the same with the Tephra mod that is like mine 56890009 to 56890109 which is Tephra V-1.

Update on 2011 Evo X MR being back flashed to 2010 Evo X MR:

Some of you may have seen earlier that I was reporting some kind of odd lag and excessive clutch slip between gear shifts especially when the car was in warmup mode. Well I finally went back and reflashed the car with the stock 2010 SST settings to see if suddenly the issue went away... and it did!

So what might have yielded perfect drivability and quick off the line response on a 2011 SST rom, this was not the case taking those same SST settings and directly copying them to the 2010 tune. I plan on doing one or two groups of tables at a time until the issue suddenly comes back. It was very noticeable when the car was trying to shift from 1st to 2nd on a cold start, it would hover in limbo for several seconds sometimes and you almost had to let off for a few seconds for it to sort things out.

I got into full boost in 4th to see if the clutchpacks would slip or open up at WOT and somehow it was ok, at least at 25 psi, but I did feed in the throttle instead of letting full torque hit at 3500-4000 rpm. I can definitely tell the car is sluggish off the line though and that is what some of the SST tweaks addressed as well. Chances are I'll just keep the tables close to stock up until 30% TPS which will keep drivability good and avoid the lagged out super slipping that was happening before.

Once I figure out which set of tables is the culprit I'll report back of course.
