Tephra v7 tps map switching

Hey, I'm running my E85 maps as main and gasoline on the alternate using TPS to switch between them. If I'm on the alternate map and upload a change, will the ecu revert back to the main map? Thanks.

You could test this by setting the boost (WDC) to zero in one of the maps. After a simple test you would know.

Follow up: The map defaults back to the main map when updates are uploaded.

+1 to Tephra being awesome.

I have a USDM IX though, so I don't think I have an ICS light.

I was able to tell which map I was on by looking at my wideband during idle; I could tell it was on the E85 map while running 93 octance because it idled very rich.

Actually, I've seen different responses on an Evo VIII and IX with the V7 ... at least I think I did. the VIII I worked on kept the map switch setting and the IX did not. Both used the TPS switch. Maybe I'm mistaken. Obviously, Tephra knows what happens better than me, but I seem to remember this conflict.

It's something that slips by sometimes when you're not tuning too often, and you're all "WTF happened to my map?!?"

Tephra,

For USDM evos only the 03 and 04 have the ICS. After that the cars got the ACD so the ICS was scrapped.
