hey I'm tuning with tom from tscomp and unfortunately for me he's very very busy. we tuned on c16 and had great results then my turbo blew and I upgraded my wga from the stock 13psi to an fp 25psi and now I want to start the pump tune so the last map he sent me has dual maps and the pump map is on the alt map. switching is set to TPS however I can't get it to switch over.... I've searched and I cant seem to find the exact process

 

Key on engine off, hold throttle 100% for a couple seconds until engine light starts flashing. Slow flash is main map, fast flash is alt map.

 

ok I've tried that multiple times and nothing. I double checked that it is set to 3 (tps) why isnt it working? or is there something else I'm missing?

 

i just checked my logs and at WOT my tps is at 93-94%. could this have something to do with it?

 

thats odd. if you want we can just make a separate rom for the alt map.

are you using the correct rom that has the TPS set to engage the alt map?

 

I had the same problem with my accel peddle. I had to shave a little off the bottom to hit 100%, or just psh really hard on it

 

yes I even quadruple checked. I sent you a few emails, we can use 2 different roms that would be no problem at all as I will never be changing on the fly.

 

What's your idle tps? Might need to adjust the throttle body.

 

idle tps is 14%

back when I was magnus tuned I had to manually adjust my throttle cable idle screw at the throttle body just so the car would idle. I just never turned it back because my car has always given me idle problems

 

The cable is not the idle screw. You should be adjusting the biss. 14% is reasonable however. 16% I think is the isc cut off.
